Tuckerizing - A Practical Approach November 9th, 2024

If you've used Studio 180 Design tools for any period of time, you've probably thought about using them for patterns that aren't written for the tools. We call this Tuckerizing! Join Diana Mann, Studio 180 Design Certified Instructor for a three hour class that will help you learn how to Tuckerize patterns with ease. 

You will be converting three blocks to use the Tucker Trimmer and Wing Clipper tools to be used as a small wall hanging or table runner. 

You will learn:

• How to break a block down into individual units
• How to decide what tool to use for those units
• How to resize the blocks if you choose
• How to determine fabric amounts for your project
  

Diana will also give a brief demo with the tools of each unit used in the blocks as a review. 

This class takes place live over Zoom and all times are Eastern. In this class you will receive:

• Three hours of live instruction with Diana
• Pre-recorded videos of all of the techniques covered in class 
• Full in color class materials that go over every step of the project
• Access to Diana before and after classes to help you along the way

You should already be familiar with the Tucker Trimmer and Wing Clipper prior to taking this class. 

Please note that these classes are not recorded. In lieu of recording the classes Diana has recorded step by step tutorials on each process for the class.
